Claiming of private health cover & medicare?

All private health insurances are accepted. Claiming can be completed on the spot in the clinic for both private health and medicare (if approved by your GP). For medicare referrals a small Gap payment will be charged to make up the remainder of the appointment fee.

Injured at work, on the road or in the defence force?

DVA

Both Gold and White DVA holders are accepted, however sometimes a GP referral is required. Any injury that has been sustained by former or current members of the Defense Force can be treated. Common treatment methods include a combination of hands on therapy and strength rehab/mobility plans.

TAC

If you have sustained an injury on the road in Victoria you will be covered for physiotherapy services by TAC as long as you have an approved claim number. Strengthen Up Physiotherapy is accredited to treat all TAC injuries.

WorkCover

We are committed to getting you back to work safely and in a timely manner. If you have been injured at work and are in pain we are here to help. A multidisciplinary approach is usually required with good communication between the physio (us) your GP and the workplace.

NDIS

We are passionate at helping support and treat adults and children with special needs or disabilities. We are eligible to work with NDIS patients who are self managed or plan managed. Note: Generally we work with children over the age of ten.

Note: Physiotherapists are registered with the health regulations board (AHPRA). Also physiotherapists are required to have professional indemnity insurance to practice.
